NetSuite provides an option in Set Preferences to set the filter type for reports. This is a user level preference.
In Set Preferences, Reporting/Search tab there is an option Report by Period in which it accepts 3 values :
- All Reports : Means all the reports that have access to this role will be having period as a filter
- Financial Only : Means only the Financial reports that have access to this role will be having period as a filter
- None : No reports will have period as a filter option
