When a custom record is added as a sublist to another custom record or standard record NetSuite will show Remove option once the record is created.
Remove link will remove the Parent record link from the child record.
This can be resolved in 2 ways:
Procedure 1:
- In Custom record set the Access Type as “Use Permission List”.
- Under Permission tab, define the level of access for each role.
With the above approach all the roles that are used needs to be defined under the permissions tab.
Procedure 2:
- In the custom record, open the field to attach this record to the parent record
- Go to Validation and Defaulting tab and check Mandatory field.
